The NHL lockout really has our goat! You may ask “who needs hockey?” Well, Billy Goat needs hockey! We’re not just losing games. We’re losing postgame cheezborgers!
While players and owners are busy arguing about their money, everyone loses and business is b-a-a-a-a-a-d! After a Blackhawks victory, the Billy Goat on Madison is the place to celebrate. Now we don’t make any money. Tables are empty. Employees take less orders and make less tips.
Hockey fans love cheezborgers. Billy goat loves hockey fans. Figure it out NHL! This is a slap shot in the face. When they play hockey, everyone wins – the city, fans and the Billy Goat.
Take some advice from a goat, NHL, and stop acting like a jackass!

It’s time to kick off the holiday season with Beersgiving! The evening before Thanksgiving is traditionally a time to enjoy a beer (or several) with friends. Celebrate it at the bar where it all began – the Billy Goat Tavern.
The tradition was founded by customers at the Billy Goat Tavern on Washington and Franklin. Unfortunately that location is closed, but the celebration continues at our other 8 locations. The traditional feast of Beersgiving is of course a cheezborger and cheeps!

If anyone in the world gives our great country a problem, they won’t have to look any further than the Chicago Cubs to find out what can happen. They’ll think twice when faced with a goat curse. No other party offers a deterrent like this that will keep our extraordinary service men and women out of harms way.
But, the power of a good curse isn’t our first choice. We believe in diplomacy. You’d be surprised how many problems can be solved over a Cheezborger and beer. Politicians and world leaders have been working out their differences at Billy Goat for decades.
