This was our first year serving the crowds at Lollapalloza. The first day was so busy that we even had to take the “Triple” off the menu to save space on the grills. Luckily we’ve got over 30 years experience with events like this and our team handled the incredible crowds for three days with flying colors.
This August 2 – 4, Billy Goat will be part of Chow Town at Lollapalooza in Grant Park. If you’re lucky enough to go to the sold out show remember to stop by for a Cheezborger.

July 20, 2013 marks the 44th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. That mission captivated the imagination of the entire world, including legendary entrepreneur Billy Goat Sianis. The following spring, Billy Goat petitioned the secretary of State for the first food and liquor license on the moon.

When it was built in 1930, The Merchandise Mart was the largest building in the world. It wasn’t long before Billy Goat Tavern opened on Madison in 1934. It’s fitting for two Chicago legends to team up and feed hungry shoppers delicious Cheezborgers.
