It’s Summer in Chicago and Billy Goat Tavern will be back at both Taste of Chicago and Burger Fest!
The 37th Annual Taste of Chicago is July 5-9 in Grant Park. Admission is free and festival hours are 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The Roscoe Village Burger Fest is on Belmont and Damen on Saturday and Sunday July 8 and 9th. The fest is open from 11AM to 10 PM each day. There’s a popular “Kids’ Zone” featuring a large arts and craft tent with activities as an instruments petting zoo, stamping/stenciling, face paintings, fish bowl collages, tote decorating and tattoos. For the older kids there will be outdoor basketball hoops, rock climbing, yoga, miniature golf, jousting, a 35 foot slide, and hockey and soccer workshops.
